Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tiffin, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project provides for the construction of a traffic signal system at the intersection of Roberts Ferry Road and Village Drive, as well as the construction of pedestrian curb ramps at the southeast, northeast, and northwest corners of the intersection. The construction includes a traffic signal system for 1 intersection and approximately 120 SY of 4-inch sidewalk, 75 SY of 6-inch sidewalk, and 90 SY of full-depth pavement patching. Other associated improvements include pavement markings, traffic signs, erosion control, temporary traffic control, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. The City of Tiffin does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. Sealed bids for the work comprising the improvements as stated must be filed before 10:00 A.M. at the reception desk in Tiffin City Hall, 300 Railroad Street, Tiffin, Iowa, 52340. Bids received after the deadline for submission of bids as stated herein shall not be considered and shall be returned to the late bidder unopened.
