The Project includes site excavation and grading; turf restoration; storm sewer; asphalt paths; concrete sidewalks; basketball and pickleball courts including asphalt paving, court surfacing, pavement markings, fencing, and sporting equipment; prefabricated restroom building installation including new water, sanitary, and electrical services; pathway lighting and miscellaneous electrical installation; pavement markings; and open-air shelters. The work also requires compliance with funding and legal requirements, including submission of a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, use of American-made iron and steel where applicable, adherence to Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates and wage payment requirements, and compliance with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) conditions including employment, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Minority-owned Business Enterprises, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. Bidders must use the latest federal wage rates at the time of bid opening, and proposals may be denied if requirements are not met.
