This project, located in Anne Arundel County, is for the high friction surface treatment at various locations. Specific locations for this contract are listed herein with the work to be performed. They include the following: For the five locations Ramp 1 from IS 97 NB to MD 100 WB; Ramp 5 from IS 97 SB to MD 100 EB; Ramp 2 from MD 100 WB to IS 97 NB; Ramp 7 from MD 295 WB to IS 195 SB; Ramp 6 from MD 295 NB to IS 195 SB the work will be performed and completed within the dates of Contract Notice to proceed (NTP) to June 30, 2027. For locations on MD 100, MD 100 WB Mainline - 0.55 miles East of WB&A Road to Crain Highway (Curved portion of MD 100 mainline on either side of the IS 97 Interchange) and MD 100 EB Mainline - 0.55 miles East of WB&A Road to Crain Highway (Curved portion of MD 100 mainline on either side of the IS 97 Interchange), the work will be performed and completed within the dates of June 30, 2027 to June 30, 2028. Classification: F - $5,000,001 to $10,000,000 In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00 The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
