The purpose is to enter into a contract to create a new pond. A mandatory site visit is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Vendors must guarantee their pricing through the entirety of the project. Project area is 7600 W. 6800 N., Corinne, UT. The contractor will coordinate with the landowner to create a new pond. Contractor must provide a scraper/ejector (approx. 16 ft. width), a laser slope transit, and a tractor with an offset disc or disc ripper. The disc will facilitate the breakup of 2-3" heavy clay soil for each pass. Contractors will be required to have close communication with the landowner during this work and will be required to have a pre-work conference meeting prior to beginning work. The Ingress and Egress will be defined on a map that will be given to the contractor at the pre-work meeting. Essentially there will be 1 road that leads to the soil dump sites. That road will split to allow for 2-way access to the 2 different access roads per dump site. The soil "carry" distance, approx. Cubic yards and soil dump site design/contours are as follows: Priority #1) Island: 5 ft. dirt height. Outside edge will have a required 4-to-1 slope. Approx.6500 cu. Yds. o Island Ingress/egress not limited. Access on any side in any manner. Priority #2) East hill: 100 ft. East of main pond. "U" shaped. about 450 ft in length and 40 ft. wide. Required that this reaches an 8 ft. HEIGHT for about 100 feet on the northern end. Approx. 3000 cu. Yds. Priority #3) West Hill: 400 ft from west pond edge. This 16 ft. wide "U" shaped hill is sloped to a 7 ft. ht. at its' apex. Add 2 ft of dirt across most of the hill. Approx. 400 cu. Yds. This will bring the western most 100 ft. up to 9 ft. Required ht. (This hill has had all GRADES shot for Verification) Landowner will verify 9 ft. height before dirt moved to #4 is allowed. Priority #4) Northwest Hill: 1400 ft. from pond center to center of dogleg hill. All remaining dirt. Approx. 8500-9500 cu. Yds. Dogleg Hill is approx. 60 ft. width and approx. 600 ft. in total length. This hill will easily top 10 ft.
