The project involves replacing the mechanical, lighting, door hardware, and rain gutters. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project. Replacing the furnace and AC, replacing the interior shop lighting, replace and move the exterior lights up, Create an air seal from the shop to the office/breakroom, fix doors, garage door seals, add/ replace damaged rain gutters, and add electrical cord reals in cold storage building for battery maintainers on equipment. Additive Alternates: Add Alt 1 Replace 6 Surface mounted light fixtures on the main level office & break room Add Alt 2 Paint main level office & break room, Install new light switch cover plates & outlet cover plates. 6 switch & 22 outlet covers The Work of Project: Renovations on small shop to include: replacement and upgrade of exterior lighting and interior shop light fixtures; replacement of the old furnace with a more efficient furnace and ac unit; replacement of (3) man doors; painting of (2) overhead doors; replacement of gutters and downspouts on both shops; replacement of (3) exterior wall packs with LED fixtures on large shop; and installing (3) retractable Cord Reels on ceiling and all other work included in drawings and project manual.
