The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority's goal for disadvantaged business enterprise, minority business enterprise and women business enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) participation on the project shall be fifteen percent (15%) and bidder shall provide documentation of its ability to achieve that goal or, if the Port Authority's goal is not attainable by bidder, bidder shall provide an affidavit detailing why that goal was not attained. This contract is for all labor, material, insurance, and equipment necessary for the project entitled Parking Structures Restoration 2026 project located at 227 N. Saint Clair St., and 334 N. Superior St., Toledo, OH 43604, in accordance with the specifications, to the Port Authority at One Maritime Plaza, Toledo, OH 43604. The Total engineer's estimate for the base bid and alternates is approximately $770.000.00. The scope of work includes: - At Port Lawrence: structural concrete repairs, post-tensioning tendon repairs, replacement of joint sealants, replacement of expansion joints, removal and installation of traffic coatings, replacement of floor drains, and repainting of pavement markings. - At Superior: structural concrete repairs, topping slab exploratory excavations, replacement of joint sealants, replacement of expansion joints, installation of elastomeric coating, replacement of floor drains, and scoping of floor drain system below grade. - Alternate No. 1: removal and installation of traffic coatings and repainting of pavement markings at Superior. - Alternate No. 2: structural concrete repairs, topping slab replacement, installation of joint sealants, installation of concrete sealer, and repainting of pavement markings at Superior. - There is also an allowance for the purchase of light fixtures to be installed by others.
