The Hawkins County Board of Education is seeking bids for a 40'x48'x14' post frame building to be supplied and erected on the Clinch School campus. CLINCH FIRE AND RESCUE SCHOOL ANNEX SPECIFICATIONS The building shall consist of a 40' x 48' pre-engineered wood post/frame building with a 6" reinforced concrete floor throughout. A 6-inch compacted stone base and 6mil vapor barrier will be required The floor shall be 6 inches of 4000psi concrete reinforced with 6x6 10/10 WWF The building shall be wood framed using pressure treaded lumber in any location where contact is made with the ground or slab. The building shall include 40 feet free span trusses with no overhang. The roof shall be a minimum 3/12 pitch with an eave height of 14 feet and shall be insulated to prevent condensation. 6-inch seamless gutter and downspouts will be required on both eaves. The roof and siding shall be a minimum of 29ga Kynar finished metal with 40-year manufacturer warranty or equal. The building shall include (3) 12' x 12' roll up doors and (1) 3-0 x 6-8 walk through door All required rough grading, electrical, and plumbing will be performed by the owner prior to the erection of the building. Before construction begins, the successful bidder shall submit for approval the following: - Engineer stamped drawings for building construction - Color Samples for siding and trim - Specifications for overhead and walk through doors - Copies of required licensing - Insurance certificates
