Sealed bids are invited for the Duryea Borough Municipal Building Roof Replacement. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at their own risk. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to ten percent of the total bid and, if awarded, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and funded through the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with all requirements of this authority to be met by the bidders. The successful bid must include a Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause as contained in the contract documents. Bids may be held by the Borough for up to sixty days for review, and bidders may not withdraw their bid during this period.
