Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lyons, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work under this contract will generally consist of the construction of approximately 0.12 linear miles of leveling and resurfacing, including approximately 192 tons of 9.5mm Superpave, approximately 34 tons of OGI leveling, one cross drain, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work on the project must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Proposal Forms in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Lyons prior to the specified time, accompanied by a Bidder's Bond payable to the City of Lyons for 10 percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Insurance Certificates. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. The City of Lyons reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids.
