Renovation of a mixed-use development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Perform field investigative services to locate, identify, and assess all surrounding utility lines and piping associated with the existing grease trap, including inlet piping from the kitchen to outlet piping connecting to the sanitary system. Investigations shall include underground utility locating and video scanning to determine the condition and integrity of the piping and to evaluate whether complete removal and replacement of the existing piping is required or whether an alternate solution, such as pipe jetting and lining, is feasible. If complete removal and replacement is determined to be necessary, the effort shall include additional engineering services, including civil and structural engineering. Design a new grease entrapment system for the Building 2 kitchen that provides similar or increased grease capacity compared to the existing system. The design shall include construction phasing, a temporary grease entrapment system for the duration of construction, and a traffic control plan. The scope also includes preparation of demolition and construction plans, including removal of existing manholes and associated concrete, trenching operations, and required shoring work. Magnitude of construction project estimate is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.
