Site work for a water / sewer project in Munster, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing Spray-In-Place Polymeric Lining (SIPP) for approximately 1,300 feet of existing 6-inch cast iron water main along Oakwood Avenue between Castle Drive and Oakwood Avenue from 33rd Avenue to Fairway Avenue, including 27 service connections within the rehabilitation limits. All labor and material must be furnished for this purpose. Proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled as specified. Proposals received after the specified deadline will be returned unopened. All contractors and subcontractors must meet the listed qualification requirements. No proposal may be withdrawn for 60 days following the proposal deadline. The Town of Munster reserves the right to retain all proposals for up to 60 days, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any bidder or to reject all bids, all in the best interest of the Town. No pre-submittal meeting will be held. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. An E-Verify Affidavit is required for local compliance.
