The work consists of electrical redistribution for the Centennial Clubhouse site including new electric service and metering, coordination with NIPSCO, outdoor service cabinets and panels, CT cabinets and transformers, removal and abandonment of select existing electrical infrastructure, refeeding of existing outdoor electrical loads, underground conduit, conductors, and handhole installation, installation of Owner provided fountain equipment and control panels, electrical cutover, and all appurtenances required to provide a complete and operational system. Bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled "Centennial Clubhouse Electrical Redistribution". Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid forms contained in the Contract Documents. All contractors and subcontractors listed in each bid must be properly licensed in the Town of Munster. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of 60 days following the date set for receiving bids. The Town of Munster reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Town of Munster further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Town of Munster or to reject any and all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Munster or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. Standard Indiana Form 6 (revised 2000) which includes non-collusion affidavit will be required.
