Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a sidewalk / parking lot.

Replace parking lot and repair storm sewers at Lake Land College - Mattoon, Coles County. MBE/WBE subcontracting and supplier goals apply. Plans are available from the architect/engineer; access bidding documents by visiting the plan room at www.upchurchgroupplanroom.com or by sending an email request to aclimer@upchurchgroup.com, including the project name, your name, company name, address, and phone number. Instructions will be provided on how to download or order hard copies from the plan room. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be applicable, and the project will be bid through eBuilder. Delivery method is single prime. Special instructions and further details for obtaining plans are available through the provided contact information. General Single Trade: 20% MBE/WBE and 5% VBE/PBE combined goals The project consists of the full-depth removal and replacement of approximately 158,500 square feet of pavement in Parking Lot B, located at the northwest end of the main campus of Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois. Work includes new pavement, sidewalks, landscaped islands, upgraded lighting, the addition of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and storm sewer repairs. The existing pavement, a portion of the aggregate base, concrete islands, signs, storm sewer, and drainage structures will be removed. Existing concrete pavement along the east side of the lot, the landscaped island near the west building roadway intersection, and existing light poles will remain in place. New storm sewer piping and drainage structures will be installed, and new concrete curbed landscape islands will be constructed. The entire parking lot will receive new aggregate base and hot-mix asphalt pavement. Erosion control measures will be provided throughout construction to minimize sediment transport. Following paving, new painted pavement markings will be applied for approximately 431 standard stalls and 2 accessible stalls. The interiors of the new landscaped islands will be backfilled with topsoil, and all disturbed areas will be fertilized, seeded, and mulched. New traffic signs will be installed to replace those removed during demolition. Doc note - The refundable cost for a hard copy of the plans and project manual will be approx. $150.00 (postage and tax not included). You will have the opportunity to view the documents as many times as you like before deciding to purchase.
