As of 5/4/2026, The City has withdrawn this bid and will be rebidding the project. Water main work includes 700 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe water main, two hydrants, five gate valves, and one set of corporation valves, curb stops and boxes, and copper water services. Sanitary sewer work includes 1,400 linear feet of 8-inch SDR 35, four 48-inch diameter sanitary manholes and four SDR 35 laterals. Storm sewer work includes 630 linear feet of 18-inch class V reinforced concrete pipe, 130 linear feet of 12-inch class V reinforced concrete pipe, six 2'x3' inlets, and three 48-inch diameter storm manholes. Pavement, crushed aggregate, and miscellaneous work includes 1,492 tons of 2.5-inch asphalt pavement, 3,710 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 2,500 linear feet of curb and gutter, 300 cubic yards of black dirt, 2,780 square yards of seed, fertilizer, and mulch, concrete sidewalk/driveway apron, and asphalt driveway, excavation, traffic removals, and control, plus additional miscellaneous appurtenances. Work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications on file. Sealed bids only will be received. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate of Organization and Authority, a list of subcontractors, approval of pre-qualification, and a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% and not more than 10% of the bid. Bidders must file a Proof of Responsibility form showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience. Bids will be accepted only from qualified bidders. All relevant documents and ordinances are part of the contract. Bidders must be aware of and required to pay minimum wage rates as established by the City. The time for commencement of the work shall begin no later than ten days after written notification from the engineer unless otherwise stipulated, and completion is to be no later than October 23, 2026. The envelope containing the proposal must be marked appropriately.
