Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Grading, installation of 428 linear feet of 6" PVC storm sewer, planting of twelve 2" caliper trees, construction of 2,530 square feet of 5" concrete sidewalk, seeding and restoration for 10,065 square yards, excavation of 700 cubic yards of common material, installation of five 12" x 12" plastic storm sewer inlets, plus miscellaneous appurtenances. Work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications on file. Bids will be accepted only from qualified bidders that have filed proof of responsibility by the specified deadline and must include a certificate of organization and authority, a list of subcontractors, approval of pre-qualification, and a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% to 10% of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All bidders must comply with the minimum rates of pay as established by the City. Work is to commence within ten days of written notification and be completed no later than September 1, 2026. The envelope containing the proposal must be marked accordingly.
