Sealed Bid Proposals will be received for the 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Program – Walton Hills. Each bid must contain the full name or names of the party or parties making the bid, with an affidavit as to interested parties, and, for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a proper certificate that the corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with their proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a certified check or cashier’s check equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, payable to the Village of Walton Hills. The bid security in bond form must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio. The price of material and labor bid for shall be separately stated. The bid documents, specifications, and drawings may be examined online. To become a Registered Bidder, documents must be purchased at a specified website or locations for a fee, which includes bid registration, a hard copy set, and a set of PDF files. Additional sets can be ordered at extra cost. Bidders must use the provided printed forms of proposal; others will not be accepted. All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with Ohio equal employment opportunity requirements is required. The Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or check will be held as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Village of Walton Hills. In default, the bond or check will be forfeited as liquidated damages. The Council of the Village of Walton Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable to the Village.
