The project generally includes the construction of approximately 3,743 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line by open cut, 90 linear feet of 8-inch water line by dry bore, 687 linear feet of 6-inch, 596 linear feet of 8-inch, and 2,283 linear feet of 10-inch SDR 19 IPS sanitary sewer line by pipe bursting, 14 - 5.0 foot diameter manholes, and approximately 2,360 square yards of 10-inch reinforced concrete pavement, along with all necessary appurtenances. Plans, specifications, and other documents may be examined or acquired electronically by bidders through the Civcast website at http://civcastusa.com. Contractors are required to create an account to sign in to the website to access the bid documents. Civcast will alert bidders of any addendums to the projects. If the contractor requests a printed plan set, there will be a cost. Any requests for substitute "or equal" products must be submitted in writing to the engineer at the pre-bid conference. Shop drawings, details, product data sheets, or other pertinent information to assist the engineer in determining equivalency should accompany the written request.
