Site work for a detention facility in Saint Albans, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: installation of erosion prevention and sediment control measures; security fencing repairs and partial replacement including removal and replacement of fence posts, straightening of existing posts, removal and reinstallation of the existing Intrusion Detection System, removal and reinstallation of existing razor ribbon, and installation and regrading of crushed stone between fences. The fence repairs will be from an alternate funding source and must be invoiced separately from the other work. Other scope elements include drainage improvements, construction of a new gravel wetland and forebay with overflow and outlet structure with discharge pipe, construction of a new bioretention area and swale by the maintenance building, reduction of the width of the perimeter drive and paving the surface, finish grading, seeding, and mulching of disturbed areas, and maintenance of seeded areas until established. All bids must be submitted electronically as a single, digitally searchable PDF attachment via email. Multiple emails or attachments will not be accepted. There is a 40 MB size limit for attachments. Full bonding is required for the job. Award is subject to final approval.
