Deschutes County Department of Solid Waste (DCSW) is requesting Bids to furnish labor, materials, tools and equipment for regrading and expanding the Negus trailer parking area. The project involves removing existing asphalt, regrading to remove high and low spots in the parking area, prepping an additional area and paving approximately 27,000 square feet. The Contractor shall provide all staff, labor, tools, materials and equipment required for removing asphalt, regrading and paving the Negus transfer trailer parking area. Also included are two corning widening areas. This task includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the following work: Removal of existing asphalt in the parking area outlined in Attachment 1. Regrade subgrade to eliminate high points and settlement areas. Clear and grub 20' to the south of existing parking area. Prep entire outlined area in Attachment 1 with 8" of 3/4 minus base rock. Pave entire outlined area in Attachment 1 with 4" of asphalt concrete. Widen (2) shoulders noted on Attachment 1 (dimensions need to be determined by contractor). Additional excavated materials can be dumped on-site inert fill area at no cost.
