Site work for a water / sewer project in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace domestic water line in tunnel from Lawrence Hall down to Friendly Hall. It will be the responsibility of each participating Vendor to refer daily to the UO Business Opportunities website to check for any available opportunities, addendum to current opportunities, cancellations, or intents to award posted there. UO has adopted policies applicable to all Vendors/Contractors that prohibit sexual harassment and that the Vendor's/Contractor's company and employees are required to adhere to institutional policies prohibiting sexual harassment in their interactions with members of the institutional community. The project scope generally includes the replacement of the existing domestic water service piping that is currently connected to Lawrence, University, Villard, and Allen Halls. It will also include extension of the same service to Friendly Hall, which is currently fed from a separate water service routed in a utility tunnel along East 13th Avenue. The scope also includes any repair and/or replacement of utility line supports, ameliorating the congestion at the entry to Lawrence Hall, as well as electrical demolition work, by others. There will be no modifications to the structure of the tunnels themselves. Clarifying questions must be submitted to Glen Macdonald via email at glenm@uoregon.edu. The last day for submitting clarifying questions will be Monday, May 6th at 5:00 PM (PST).
