The project consists of the construction of the Pyramid Highway Operations Improvements Project (PWP-WA-2026-149). Plans, specifications, and solicitation documents are available for download. Bidders are responsible for printing project documents and obtaining addenda and supplemental information. Each bid must be accompanied by a Surety Company Bid Bond, or certified or cashier's check payable to the Regional Transportation Commission in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Prevailing wage rates for Washoe County shall be posted on the work site and paid as required by Nevada law. The work must begin within five calendar days of the commencement date set forth in the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 145 working days. The RTC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept or reject any alternates or options, and waive any irregularities or informalities in the submitted bid forms. Pre-qualification Requirements: Prospective bidders must be presently licensed under Nevada State Law for the specified work. All bidders must be properly qualified to submit a bid for this public works project. Only bidders prequalified by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) at the time of bid submittal will be eligible. Bidders must hold an active NDOT prequalification in the appropriate work classifications and monetary limits and provide evidence of such with their bid.
