Renovation of an educational facility in Ashland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,000-square-foot educational facility.

Project Description This project includes all labor, materials and equipment required to replace the existing single ply membrane roofing with new 60 mil, mechanically fastened PVC membrane at the SOU Science Building (1250 Ashland Street, Ashland). The area-of-work is approximately 16,000 square feet. Bidders are required to field verify all dimensions and quantities prior to submitting a bid. The work scope includes: o Remove and salvage existing metal parapet copings for reuse or, at contractor's option, install new 24-gauge Kynar finish parapet copings. o Remove and dispose of the existing PVC roofing . The existing polyisocyanurate insulation and cover board remains in place. o Install new tapered insulation on the Science 1 building. o Install new densdeck cover board (mechanically fastened). o Install new 60-mil PVC membrane roofing (mechanically fastened). o Furnish and install fall protection anchor, walk pads, drains, drain guards and all flashings and accessories required for a complete, warranted system. o Provide a 20-year NDL manufacturer's warranty. Warranty must extend to the outside face of exterior walls. Refer to Attachment A (Project Manual) and Attachment B (Drawings) for detailed information.
