This solicitation is seeking submittals from experienced and qualified vendors for the Installation of New 24-inch Water Transmission Main on Merriman Road project. The project consists of one-half mile of 24-inch water transmission main to be installed on Merriman Road from Marquette Street to Cherry Hill Road in Garden City, Michigan, in Wayne County. The new 24- inch transmission main will tie into GLWA's existing 42-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) water main at Marquette Street and GLWA's existing 16-inch cast iron water main at Cherry Hill Road. The project includes two tie-ins and the installation of gate, triple offset metal-seated ball, and butterfly valves. The scope of Work is described in Exhibit A of Attachment No. 1.
