The City of Winter Springs, Florida is soliciting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide engineering design, surveying, permitting, bidding, and post design services for a new permanent emergency generator system and supporting enclosed structure. The purpose is to supply the City's Public Works building with emergency power needed currently and in the future to operate the facility properly during a disaster. Questions concerning this Request for Qualifications should be directed to Shelle Tingle, Purchasing Coordinator, via email at purchasing@winterspringsfl.org. The deadline for questions is May 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM. An addendum with City responses will be released on online on May 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM, if necessary. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
