Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
This project is for the installation of a traffic signal system at the intersections of Bob Olson Parkway and South Sherman Street. The work involves constructing four Type III signal poles with single mast arms for each pole at all four corners of the intersection. All Type III signal poles require large foundations. The majority of the signal equipment, including poles, mast arms, and cabinet, has been pre-purchased by the City. Additional project components include constructing curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, storm drainage modifications, and striping revisions, as well as constructing an eastbound to southbound right-turn declaration lane. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the specified time, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Engineer's Estimate: $475,000 - $575,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
