Replacement of Warren Library Rooftop Unit #1 at 444 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren, OH 44483. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for ten percent of the proposal. A performance bond for the full contract price is required unless the item bid is available for immediate delivery and specified as such. Bids from corporations not chartered in Ohio must include proper certifications for doing business in Ohio. Proposals must be accompanied by a properly executed noncollusion affidavit and, if successful, by an affidavit as required by Sec. 5719.042 of the Ohio Revised Code. No payment will be made without this affidavit. The contractor and all subcontractors must be enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug-Free Safety Program or a similar approved program. Bids must clearly indicate the item being bid, name, address, and telephone number of the bidder on the outside of the sealed envelope. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex, or national origin. If awarded, work must be substantially complete within 180 calendar days. The Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bids may be withdrawn for at least ninety days after opening. The Contractor Agrees That, if Awarded the Contract for the Project, the Work Will Be Substantially Complete Within One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days. The Warren-trumbull County Public Library Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Informalities. In Addition, the Library Board Reserves the Right to Participate in State Contracts Which the Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing Has Entered Into for the Purchase of Supplies, Services, Equipment and Certain Materials Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 125.04. No Bids May Be Withdrawn for at Least Ninety- (90) Days After the Opening Thereof. A Performance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price Will Be Required at the Time the Bidder Enters Into the Contract. However, if the Item Bid is Available for Immediate Delivery and Specified as Such in the Bid, a Performance Bond Will Not Then Be Required. For All Bids, a Certified Check Representing Ten (10%) Percent of the Proposal, Drawn on a Solvent Bank, and Payable to the Warren-trumbull County Public Library, or a Bid Bond in the Sum of Ten (10%) Percent of the Proposal in Lieu Thereof Must Accompany Each and Every Proposal as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into With Warren-trumbull County Public Library Board, in the Manner Provided by Law
