Site work for a water / sewer project in Blawnox, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received for the commodity ROCK SALT (SODIUM CHLORIDE) for the participating municipalities of Blawnox, Bradford Woods, Etna, Fox Chapel, Franklin Park, Hampton, Indiana, McCandless, Marshall, Millvale, O'Hara, Ohio, Pine, Reserve, Richland, Ross, Shaler, Sharpsburg, West Deer, and West View. This is a requirements contract for the collective seasonal order of 32,825 tons of rock salt (at 100%), assuming all twenty municipalities participate. Specifications, instructions to bidders, and proposal forms may be obtained at the NHCOG office. A non-refundable fee of $80.00 will be charged for each set of specifications procured. All bids must be sealed and addressed to the NHCOG Purchasing Cooperative and marked on the outside of the envelope as PROPOSAL FOR ROCK SALT (SODIUM CHLORIDE). Bids must be submitted in a separate sealed and marked envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK, OR BID BOND in the amount of five percent of the total bid price for the collective tonnage of 32,825 (at 100%) made payable to the NHCOG Purchasing Cooperative. The respective legislative body of each member municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any minor discrepancies in the bid or specifications when deemed to be in the best interest of the municipality.
