Houtzdale Municipal Authority is requesting bids for the Smoke Run Saddle Replacement Project, which includes the replacement of approximately 60 water service saddle connections, and the replacement of approximately 600 linear feet of water service piping and associated appurtenances. Bids are requested for General Construction. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% is required. All questions about the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via Online . Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Compliance with federal and state environmental protection statutes is required. All contractors and subcontractors must utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system and submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. Bids are irrevocable for 60 days after opening, unless otherwise specified due to award delays. The Houtzdale Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive defects, accept any bid or combination of bids, or reject any or all proposals.
