Refer to contract documents, plans and specifications for additional information. A. The City of Corpus Christi ("City" or "Owner") hereby issues this request for bids ("RFB"). The City is seeking bids from firms interested and qualified in Municipal Water Treatment Plant (WTP) infrastructure improvements, encompassing heavy mechanical/ process equipment installation, structural concrete, building construction and complex electrical /I&C integration. Firms must be qualified to coordinate construction within an active plant environment where the owner maintains ongoing operations. B. The project consists of the demolition of existing walking beam flocculators and the installation of new vertical turbine mixers, supported by structural upgrades within Plant 1 (Basins 1 and 2) and the addition of stainless-steel baffle walls in the secondary sedimentation basins. The scope further includes the construction of a new Power Control Room (PCR-14) building, sludge piping modifications, slide gate replacements and comprehensive site, electrical, and HVAC improvements.
