The work consists of repair and maintenance services for collection and water distribution systems in the City of Simi Valley. This includes, but is not limited to, waterline and sewer line repairs, pipe installation and removal, and valve and hydrant replacements. The contract term is three years from the Notice to Proceed, with an option to extend for up to two additional one-year terms by mutual written consent. Work must be performed by contractors with a State of California Class A and/or C-32 license and must strictly conform to Specification No. SV 26-27. The service requires payment of State prevailing wage rates for Ventura County, and contractors must post the prevailing wage schedule at each job site. Compliance with California Department of Industrial Relations regulations and relevant Labor Code requirements is mandatory. Bidding terms and conditions are included in the attached instructions to bidders.
