Exterior Repairs Phase II at the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Project Number 04-139-21-01, F.04000033. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Only prequalified contractors may submit bids. Complete bidding documents may be obtained electronically from The Architectural Studio of James Dodds, AIA and Lance Malley, AIA APAC. Printed copies must be arranged by the plan holders at their own expense. Questions about the procedure should be directed to the Designer. All bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, and bids will only be accepted from those who attend the entire conference. Bids are accepted from contractors licensed for Building Construction under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192, and the requirements of LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5) must be met. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as provided by law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Participation in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurships Program is encouraged. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will be accepted only from contractors that have been prequalified. Contractors’ Qualification Statements must be submitted and approved prior to bidding. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction and comply with LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5).
