Sealed bids will be received for the Louisiana Building Toilet Room Renovations at the Mid-City Campus of Baton Rouge Community College. The successful contractor must enter into a contract with the owner and furnish all materials, perform all work, supervise, coordinate, administrate, and be responsible for the entire project. Instructions to bidders include: - Electronic bids are accepted through Central Bidding at www.centralauctionhouse.com. - Bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. - Complete bidding documents are available electronically from Central Bidding. - All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any alternatives, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. - A performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required upon execution of the contract, written by a company licensed in Louisiana and on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service List, countersigned by a licensed insurance agent residing in Louisiana. - No bids may be withdrawn for at least forty-five (45) days after the closing time for receipt of bids. - Bidders must meet the State of Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law requirements and be licensed for Building Construction. - Baton Rouge Community College reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. - Participation from small businesses, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and women's business enterprises is encouraged.
