The work is generally described as the rehabilitation of Runway 17-35 and taxiway connectors, RSA grading improvements, and taxiway connector removal. This includes all pavement rehabilitation, runway widening, grading operations, modifications to electrical systems, installation of pavement markings, grooving, and related incidental items The total contract time for the project is 180 consecutive calendar days, with additional requirements for accelerated construction during certain phases of work. The Contractor shall commence construction (Phases 1, 2, & 3) within 120 days of the Notice to Proceed, and shall complete all work (Phases 1, 2, & 3) within 60 consecutive calendar days after the construction commencement date. The successful bidder will be required to execute the standard form of Contract and Agreement, together with a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond, within 10 days after formal award of the contract.
