2,842 tons of Superpave 9.5 mm Wearing Course, placed at 180 LB/SY; 387 tons of 2A Crushed Aggregate Subbase, placed as Shoulder Back-up; and 62,784 linear feet (entire township) of 4” Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads. All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the township and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of award. The township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, delete projects or portions depending on budgetary constraints, and waive any technicalities. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply to this contract.
