Description

Site work and new construction of a medical facility in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a medical facility.

Construction of a new hospital to be located on the west side of Leslie St, north of Queensville Side Road located close to the future Bradford Bypass and will include: Expanded acute and post-acute care, including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, maternal and child health, and pediatric mental health, increased inpatient capacity to meet the community’s future needs and allow more people to connect to care sooner & a new emergency department with diagnostic imaging and upgraded infection prevention and control measures. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. The province has announced funding of $10 million for early planning. Updates may be available spring 2027. *Construction cost is undefined.
