This project consists of trailer pad utility upgrades and housing-related improvements to support on-site housing for firefighters and staff. The work includes rehabilitation of eleven existing RV camping pads, with six pads at the Tanglefoot Work Center and five pads at the Tusayan Ranger Station. Pad rehabilitation includes clearing overgrown areas, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of new gravel parking surfaces, replacement of water and sewer connections, limited replacement of water and sewer lines, and replacement of electrical components on existing electrical service pedestals. The project also includes optional work items for rehabilitation of an additional thirteen RV pads, consisting of eight pads at the Jacob Lake Work Center and five pads at the Big Springs Work Center. Optional and associated work may include subsurface utility locating; television inspection and flow testing of an existing septic system; replacement of septic tanks and leach fields; replacement or installation of propane lines and connections for up to twenty-four RV pads; and additional water and sewer line replacement as required to support the upgraded housing and utility infrastructure. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 220 calendar days.
