Sealed proposals are requested for the Scarsdale Public Library Outdoor Pavilion Audio Visual Project, Contract VM# 1344. Copies of the Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, and Plans and Specifications are available at the Department of Public Works in Scarsdale Village Hall. Each bidder must deposit with their bid a certified check, bid bond, or cash of not less than 5% of the total bid, which may be forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract within ten days of the notice of award. Bid deposits or bid bonds for unsuccessful bidders will be held until the contract is executed or all bids are rejected. The Village of Scarsdale reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informality in the proposal as deemed advisable in the interest of the Village. There is a scheduled prebid meeting at the project site. All audiovisual work associated with the Scarsdale Public Library Outdoor Pavilion Project. Work includes furnishing, installing, and commissioning of speakers, projector, motorized projector screen, microphone, system hardware, and all associated speaker and data cabling. It also includes providing Owner training for the same equipment following the completion of commissioning. The Audiovisual Contractor (AVC) will coordinate as needed with the General Contractor (GC) performing Contract VM #1343 - Scarsdale Public Library Site Improvements & Outdoor Pavilion Project.
