Sealed bids are requested for Livingston Cottage Septic Improvements in Lake Taghkanic State Park, New York. Bids must be emailed in PDF format; hyperlinks are not accepted, and attachments must not exceed 20MB. If email is unavailable, an alternate address will be provided upon written request. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a scanned bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond for $13,500. The original hardcopy bid bonds from the two lowest bidders must be postmarked and sent via certified mail within 48 hours of receiving the bid summary. The contractor must meet Minority Owned Business Enterprise (5%) and Women Owned Business Enterprise (20%) participation goals. The successful bidder will furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material/Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. All Requests for Information (RFIs) are due by 4:00 PM on May 12, 2026. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the Maintenance Shop in Lake Taghkanic State Park. The successful bidder must also provide an Executive Order No. 16 certification form before the contract award. Project completion is required within 150 days after agreement approval by the NYS Comptroller's Office; liquidated damages may apply. Each bidder must certify they have a written policy addressing gender-based violence in the workplace or submit a signed statement explaining why they cannot. Contractors and subcontractors must register with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement, providing a digital registration certificate at bid opening.
