Sealed bids are requested for Pearl Building Bathroom Renovations and Associated Asbestos Abatement (C660 General Construction, Project Number 3788609999) at New York City College of Technology, 259 Adams Street, Brooklyn, New York. Bids must be clearly marked with the bidder's name and address and designated for the stated project. The successful low bidder must execute a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) as a condition of the contract, and all subcontractors must also agree to be bound by the PLA. All individuals attending pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person must present government-issued photo identification for building access. Bids delivered in person or by private carrier must allow time for building security processing to ensure timely delivery. All bids must be received and available for reading by DASNY by the specified deadline to be considered. Bid openings will be conducted publicly and also available via Zoom. Only bids in DASNY's possession by the specified time will be opened and read. Contract Documents (including new General Conditions for Construction) can be viewed and/or purchased exclusively from Camelot Print and Copy Centers to be recognized as official plan holders. Bidders are advised to review these documents, as there are significant revisions. Instructions for purchasing digital or printed sets of Contract Documents and registering as a planholder are provided. All communications regarding the procurement must go through the designated DASNY staff, as contacting other personnel may result in disqualification. The plan holders list and information for interested subcontractors and suppliers are available on DASNY's website. Every request for such interpretation must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid.
