Sealed bids are requested for the Miami Road Elevated Water Storage Tank Overflow Improvements. Detailed specifications and contract documents are available at cost. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the designated location where project and contract document questions can be addressed, followed by a site tour. Bid proposals must be submitted on the printed forms contained in the specifications and contract documents, and all other conditions described in the bid documents must be met. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty (10% of the bid amount) and contract bond (100% of the bid amount) in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. State prevailing wage requirements will apply if the total project cost exceeds $30,320. The owner reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, and waive any irregularities in accordance with the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the bid opening date. Only registered plan holders will be notified by email of expected addenda with short preparation times. This Project shall consist of construction of Overflow Improvements located at the existing water tower at 5355 Miami Road, Indian Hill, Ohio. The Work includes the following major items: A. Insert a tee into the existing overflow pipe and plug the existing outlet. B. Install new ductile iron pipe to a discharge point outside of the tower base. C. Seal the wall opening created for the new pipe. D. Construct a concrete gutter to route water from the overflow to a catch basin. _ The Project shall also include other related miscellaneous work as broken down into the various bid items and quantities as shown in the Project Specifications and Contract Documents.
