General Description: Priority Painting The University has bid and awarded an Integrated Form of Contract (IFOA) to Herrero Boldt Webcor (HBW) (hereafter "GC/Contractor"). HBW is responsible for bidding and awarding all subsequent bid packages, including this package. The successful Bidder shall sign a Subcontract Agreement directly with HBW and shall be bound by all the terms of the contract between University and HBW. Refer to "Exhibit K: General Contract / Redacted IFOA"" which contains the contract between the University and HBW. Bid Package LS. BP36B(REBID) - Priority Painting consists of painting walls, installing waterproof flooring on Level 7 around the AHUs, and installing concrete floor sealer in the "Exhibit F1 - Subcontractors Work" part of this document. Priority Painting sub is to furnish and install the paint, waterproof flooring, and concrete floor sealer in priority rooms as indicated in the Exhibit H2 - Site Logistics. The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Health is seeking Trade Contractors/Subcontractors to help build the New Hospital at UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights, commonly referred to as the Helen Diller Hospital (HDH). UCSF Health's goal is to maximize innovation, quality, productivity, flexibility, and collaboration to create value for cost through use of the current, best-in-class project delivery model for large healthcare programs. The LS.BP36B(REBID) scope will provide priority painting, priority waterproof flooring, and priority concrete floor sealer for the future Hospital Tower. MEP rooms and elevator control rooms will receive priority so the trades can install critical equipment needed to operate the building during construction. The project includes Civil, Landscape, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Telecommunication, and Signage. Constraints: The project site is constrained and within a densely built environment. Construction will take place in close proximity to neighbors, bordered by Mount Sutro Preserve, and next to a busy intersection. HBW must coordinate with surrounding UC and non-UC projects with concurrent timelines. The safety, privacy, health, and care of patients, visitors, and staff cannot be compromised at any time. UCSF Health is also committed to respecting the needs of our neighbors and community. We are seeking IPD Team members who have a collaborative spirit and can work within the bounds of the project constraints, schedule, and budget. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: License Classification: B - General Building or C-33 - Painting and Decorating Contractor.
