Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Base Bid Contract work in general includes, but is not limited to cleaning, televising and lining with new Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) approximately 564 lineal feet of 36" vitrified clay pipe (VCP), 743 lineal feet of 30" vitrified clay pipe, and 837 lineal feet of 24" vitrified clay pipe. The project also includes approximately 624 square feet of cementitious patching for manhole interiors, and approximately 4,988 square feet of interior manhole sealing/coating. Included in the work are bypass pumping operations. The Contract work will also include traffic control, site restoration work, and all relative coordination for utilities and governing entities. Additional items and estimated quantities are inclusive in the bid proposal. The Alternate Bid work in general includes, but is not limited to groundwater dewatering operations, and point repairs that involve excavation and shoring if existing pipe is determined to be broken/collapsed after being Televised & Cleaned. Question Deadline 05/15/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
