Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Blacksburg, Virginia. The project is for the construction of the Improve Center Woods Complex, consisting of an approximately 26,000 gross square foot single story facility for the College of Natural Resources and the Environment - Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. The new facility will include research and laboratory spaces, field support and storage spaces, as well as office and collaboration spaces. The project also includes the demolition of several smaller buildings on site. The facility is targeting LEED Silver certification and is located west of US-460 at the end of Inventive Lane (off Plantation Road).
