Emailed tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of various aggregate materials, including Pit Run Gravel (estimated 500 cubic yards), Rip Rap or Surge (estimated 26 cubic yards), 1" - 2" Clear Stone (estimated 100 cubic yards), Screened Sand (estimated 100 cubic yards), Quarry manufactured Type 1 Gravel ¾" or 1" minus (estimated 800 cubic yards), and Quarry manufactured Type 2 Gravel 2" or 3" minus (estimated 400 cubic yards). Tender prices must include delivery within the Town of Middleton boundaries, with delivery required within one week of request. Individual items can be tendered separately; bidders do not have to provide a price for all items. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and is not obligated to accept the lowest tender. The Town may also split and award the tender between multiple bidders and may waive any formality, informality, or technicality in any proposal. A margin of 5% in favor of in-town and immediate area suppliers, up to a maximum of $250, may be allowed.
