Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Dixon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
For the Lee County Maintenance Facility Retention Wall Project. The project will be bid as multiple prime contracts, consisting of: o Bid Package A - Demolition and Excavation Each bid package will be evaluated and awarded separately. The project consists of demolition of the existing retaining wall and associated site improvements and construction of a new reinforced concrete retaining wall, drainage system, sidewalk replacement, and related site improvements All work shall comply with applicable Illinois statutes, including but not limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Lee County reserves the right to award contracts for each bid package independently or to a single bidder based on the combined cost of the project, including any discounts offered. Lee County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid or combination of bids deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
