MassArt's South Building Humidifier Replacement and AHU Controls Upgrade - GC Bid Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project consists of but not limited to: … the replacement of the Humidification System that serves MassArt Art Museum's Exhibition and Exhibit Storage Spaces. Key improvements include the installation of five Electric Steam Humidifiers, a new Primary Summer Boiler and RO water treatment system that serves the humidifiers. Modifications to Air Handler Controls will reduce ventilation rates to Code required minimums, install new airflow measuring stations, rebalance the system and reprogram the air handling units to stabilize operation sequence. To meet the Summer Construction Schedule, MassArt has pre-purchased key long-lead items: Electric Steam Humidifiers, RO Water Treatment System, and Primary Summer Electric Boiler. This equipment is described in the Bid Documents and is stored on-site or will be delivered to the site for installation by the Contractor. The MassArt Art Museum occupies three floors of the South Building at the Massachusetts College of Art + Design. Work area includes South Building Basement and selected Mechanical Room, Gallery Exhibition, Office, and Attic areas.
