Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District - High School Video Board Sealed bids are invited for a single contract for the High School. Bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. The work may begin immediately following execution of the agreement or by notice to proceed and is scheduled to be completed in one phase as shown on the Contract Documents. Bidders and sub-bidders seeking interpretation of the bidding documents or substitution requests must make a written request to the Architect by 5:00 p.m. local time seven days before the date for receipt of bids. Clarifications or modifications to the bid documents will be addressed via Addendum by 5:00 p.m. local time four days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required at the time of bid, in the form of cashier's check, certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond on an original AIA Document A310. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Interested bidders must submit a completed Bidder's Status Form at the time of bid. Nonresident bidders must comply with Iowa Code Section 73A.21, and all bidders must observe applicable bid preferences as described by state and administrative codes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, waive informalities as allowed by law, and enter into contract(s) as deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
