The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, and services necessary to perform comprehensive tree trimming and weed control services in accordance with the Statement of Work. Services include quarterly inspections and trimming of all trees to ensure branches do not pose a hazard to buildings, parking structures, solar panel canopies, or persons, with complete cleanup and removal of all debris after each service visit. Approximately sixty palm trees, including date and fan palms, are included and shall receive annual trimming and skinning, removal of old fronds and seed pods, and full debris removal. All other trees on the property shall be inspected quarterly and trimmed as necessary to prevent damage or safety risks. Tree removal may be required if a tree is determined to be diseased or hazardous; however, no tree shall be removed without prior written approval from the Contracting Officer. Tree trimming debris shall be recycled as yard waste wherever possible. WAll questions regarding this RFQ must be in writing and may be sent by e mail to Charity.Cazee@va.gov.
