Demolition and renovation of a multi-residential development in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Sequoyah County. The project includes carpentry, demolition, drywall and finish, electrical, paint and finish, and plumbing. The work must be completed within 45 working days. The home has tested positive for ACM and LBP, so safe work practices for these areas are required. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, or the contractor will incur a charge of $100.00 for each working day over the contract end date. Bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up to be considered. Preference will be given to TERO-certified bidders, with proof of certification required. The successful bidder must comply with Tribal rules and regulations, TERO requirements, and complete the necessary Labor Agreement and fee payments. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rate #OK2026000079, and any wage requirements that exceed the Federal rate are not applicable.
