Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-unit multi-residential development.
The work is for the demolition of an existing structure and the delivery and setup of one 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom replacement mobile home located in Sequoyah County. The contractor must furnish all necessary labor, quality control, licenses, material, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, insurance, and supervision to complete the entire project within the specified time after receipt of "Notice to Proceed." The project must be fully completed within 45 working days, or $1,000.00 per working day will be charged for delays. Contract extensions are only allowed under extenuating circumstances. The project must adhere to the 2024 Competitive IHBG Grant Guidelines as specified in Attachment A. If a contractor cannot meet any specifications in Attachment A, a written explanation is required. Bids will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder. The contract must be fully executed within ten days of award, or the bid becomes null and void. The contract award is subject to the availability of funds. The contractor cannot begin work until the family has signed a Deed Restriction Agreement and a Purchase Order is issued as the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with bid preparation and submission. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the closing date. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
